When Life Doesn’t Slow Down
If you have ever promised yourself that you would spend more time with God “once life slows down,” you are not alone.
I have told myself that same thing. I convinced myself that the next season would be different, that my calendar would finally open up, and that I would have time to breathe, pray, and just be still.
But here is what I have learned. Life does not slow down on its own. When one thing clears, something else quickly takes its place. The open space gets filled before we even notice.
And yet, God is not waiting for my schedule to be clear before He meets me. He is not sitting on the sidelines until I can give Him a full hour of uninterrupted time.
He meets me in the kitchen while I am making dinner. He meets me in the car while I am stuck in traffic. He meets me in the quick prayer I whisper under my breath between conversations and appointments.
Psalm 46:1 says,
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Ever-present. Not only when life is calm. Not only when there is quiet space. But right here. Right now.
So if life feels relentless right now, do not wait for the perfect moment. Invite Him into this one. Invite Him into the noise, into the busyness, into the very place you are standing.
He is not looking for perfection. He is looking for presence. And He is already here.
Much Love & Blessings,
Ramzi

Real Life Tips
Family Corner
Look for a small daily moment this week where you can invite God in. Maybe it is while the coffee brews in the morning, or when you are picking up toys, or when you are winding down for bed. Whisper a thank you. Offer Him a thought. Let His presence be part of the ordinary rhythm of your home.
Relationships Insight
As you spend time with friends, family, or even strangers, take a pause inside your own heart. Pray quietly for the person you are with. It can be as simple as, “Lord, bless them and be near to them.” This simple act shifts the tone of a conversation and allows you to see the other person through God’s eyes.
Mental Health Minute
When your thoughts start to run in every direction, stop and take one deep, slow breath. Then repeat Psalm 46:1 in your mind. Let it remind you that He is with you right now, not just when life is peaceful.
Financial Wisdom
Busy seasons often cause us to overlook our financial habits. Take five intentional minutes this week to pray over your budget. Ask God to help you steward what you have wisely and trust Him for what you cannot see yet. Even a short prayer can reframe your heart from stress to peace.
Physical Health
When you are always moving, your body starts to feel it. This week, choose one intentional pause. Go for a short walk, sit outside for a few minutes, or simply stretch and breathe deeply. Let that moment be more than a physical rest. Let it be a spiritual one too, where you simply say, “Lord, I am here and I know You are too.”
