Trusting God in the Waiting Season
The silence was deafening. Every prayer felt like it drifted into the heavens unanswered. I had prayed, fasted, sought wise counsel—yet nothing. No sign. No movement. Just… waiting.
I sat at the kitchen table, staring at the unopened Bible beside my coffee cup, wrestling with God in my heart. Why the delay? Am I not ready? Did I hear You wrong?
Then, almost as if the pages of my Bible had come alive, I felt the Holy Spirit whisper: "Be still and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10)
Waiting is hard. It tests our faith, our patience, and our trust in God’s perfect plan. But when we rush ahead of His timing, we can miss the beauty of what He’s preparing. Think of Joseph—betrayed, imprisoned, and forgotten, yet every delay was part of his divine positioning. Or Abraham, waiting decades for God’s promise to be fulfilled in Isaac.
What if our waiting season isn’t punishment, but preparation? What if God is refining us, strengthening us, and setting the stage for something far greater than we could imagine?
Instead of fearing the wait, what if we leaned into it—trusting that the same God who makes the sun rise and set is also orchestrating our breakthrough?
So today, if you’re in a waiting season, hold on. God hasn’t forgotten you. He is working behind the scenes, aligning everything perfectly for the right time. Don’t mistake the silence for absence—He is near, and His plans for you are good.
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." – Isaiah 40:31
Much Love and Blessings,
Ramzi

Applying This Week’s Encouragement
Family Corner
If your family is facing a season of waiting—whether it’s for a new home, a job, or a breakthrough in a relationship—choose faith over frustration. Start a gratitude journal together, listing ways God has been faithful in the past. Reflecting on past blessings will help strengthen your trust for the future.
Relationship Insight
Waiting for love? For reconciliation? Sometimes we want things to move faster, but God may be using this time to heal and prepare hearts. Rather than forcing a resolution, pray for wisdom and trust God’s timing. His love story for you is unfolding in ways you cannot yet see.
Mental Health Minute
Waiting can feel like an emotional storm, filled with anxiety and doubt. But in the waiting, there is peace when we surrender our worries to God. Practice meditating on His Word, breathing in His promises, and resting in the truth that He is working even when we can’t see it.
Financial Wisdom
Financial burdens can feel heavy, especially when you’re waiting for provision. Instead of worrying, shift your focus to stewardship. How can you manage what you have now with wisdom? Pray for God to guide your decisions and trust that He is Lord, your provider.
P R A Y E R
"Lord, in this waiting season, help me trust You fully. Remind me that Your timing is perfect, even when I don’t understand. Give me patience, peace, and faith to rest in Your promises. Let me grow in the waiting and find joy in Your presence. Amen."
