Trust Me

I came across a small card this week. Yellowed edges, a little worn, but the words stopped me in my tracks. It began with two simple words: "Trust Me."

As I read on, it felt like a whisper from Jesus Himself. Do you believe that I am the Son of God? Do you believe that I died for all and rose again? Then why do you continue to be anxious about the people you love?

It was one of those moments where I knew God was gently pressing on something in me. That quiet need to control, to carry, to fix the people I care about.

Maybe you know that feeling too. You pray for someone's heart to change, but it does not. You try to help, but it only seems to make things worse. You lie awake at night wondering if they will ever turn back to God.

The truth in that card was simple but freeing: "I have not put you in charge of redeeming them. I have already done that."

We forget that sometimes, do not we? We think our words, our worry, or our willpower can save someone. But only the Holy Spirit can reach the places we cannot. Only He can heal the deep wounds of the heart.

Our task is not to control outcomes. It is to love, forgive, pray, and let go.

Proverbs 3:5 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."

When we release the people we love into God's hands, we are not giving up on them. We are entrusting them to the only One who truly knows their heart.

Maybe today, God is whispering to you too: "You don't have to fix this. Just come closer to Me, and I'll do the rest."

Much Love & Blessings,

Ramzi

Be still, and know that I am God.

Where This Meets Real Life

Family Corner

If you have been trying to "fix" someone you love, pause today and pray this instead: "God, they're Yours. Help me love them well and trust You with the rest." Your children, your spouse, your family members are not your projects to complete. They are God's beloved children, and He loves them even more than you do.

Relationship Insight

Loving someone does not mean controlling them. Give grace, set boundaries, and remember that your prayers are powerful even when your hands have to let go. You can love someone faithfully while still releasing them to God's care. Sometimes the most loving thing you can do is stop trying to be their savior.

Mental Health Minute

When worry starts to circle, stop and breathe this truth: "God is working where I can't." Let His peace meet you there. Write this down and keep it visible. Your mind needs the reminder that God's power is not limited by your ability to see progress or change.

Financial Wisdom

If money or provision has you anxious for your family, release it to God. He already knows what is needed and is faithful to provide in His timing. Your worrying does not increase His provision, but your trust allows you to experience His peace while He works.

Physical Health

Stress and control can weigh heavy on your body. Step outside, breathe, and pray simply: "God, I trust You." Repeat it until your heart starts to believe it again. Your body responds to what your spirit believes. When you release control to God, your physical stress often follows.

🌿 CLOSING THOUGHT

"The people you love are safe in God's hands, safer than they could ever be in yours."

P.S. That card I found was a gift I needed this week. Maybe this message is the same for you. You are not responsible for outcomes, only obedience. Love well, pray faithfully, and let God do what only He can do.

🙏 SUNDAY PRAYER

Lord,

Thank You for reminding me that I do not have to carry what only You can redeem.
Help me trust You with the people and situations I have been holding too tightly.
Teach me to love deeply, forgive freely, and pray faithfully, then step back and let You move. You are God, and I am not. And that is good news.

Amen.
