Let Go and Trust: Finding Peace in Surrender. 🕊️

This week, discover the beauty of letting go and trusting God with every detail of your life.

Letting Go Of Control

We all like to feel in control—of our plans, our relationships, our future. But what happens when life takes an unexpected turn, and the control we thought we had slips through our fingers? Recently, I found myself frustrated, trying to keep everything in my life in order, only to feel like the more I held on, the more things unraveled. It was in one of these moments, feeling overwhelmed, that I realized God never called me to carry the weight of the world on my own shoulders. He calls me to trust Him, even when I don't understand.

Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Letting go of control doesn’t mean giving up—it means surrendering our plans to the One who knows the way better than we do. God has a plan for our lives, and He sees the bigger picture. When we surrender, we open ourselves to His peace, knowing that He is leading us even through the chaos.

This week, let’s choose to release our tight grip on the things that worry us most. Instead, let’s lift our hands in surrender and trust that God is working all things together for our good. He is in control, and that is more than enough.

This Week’s Encouragement

Family Corner

Letting go of control can be especially difficult within our families. This week, try to trust God with your loved ones. Pray for them, release your worries to God, and remember that He loves them even more than you do.

Relationship Insight

Trying to control a relationship often leads to frustration and distance. Instead, focus on loving the other person well, and allow God to work in both of your hearts. Let go of the need to control outcomes and trust His timing.

Mental Health Minute

Holding on to control can increase anxiety and stress. Take a moment this week to identify areas where you’re feeling overwhelmed. Breathe deeply, and visualize handing those worries over to God. He’s got you.

Financial Wisdom

Financial stress can often make us want to take control in unhealthy ways. Create a plan, do your best, and then trust God with the results. Remember, He is your provider, and He will meet your needs.

"Surrender to what is. Let go of what was. Have faith in what will be." -Sonia Ricotti

God’s got this. Let go of control, and let His peace guide your steps this week. He is trustworthy, and He will never let you down.

Much Love and Blessings,
