Faithful in the Little Things
We tend to think our big moments are what matter most to God.
The major decisions. The public wins. The times we stepped up when everyone was watching. We save our best effort for the things that feel significant and kind of coast through everything else, assuming the small stuff does not really count.
But God seems to look at it the other way around.
Jesus said it directly in Luke 16:10. "If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won't be honest with greater responsibilities."
The little things. That is where it starts for Him. Not the stage. Not the spotlight. The quiet, unglamorous, nobody-is-watching moments that make up the vast majority of our actual lives.
Think about what that means. The way you do your job when no one is checking. How you treat the server who got your order wrong. Whether you keep the small promise you made that everyone else forgot about. The patience you show your kids at the end of a long day when you have nothing left. The prayer you pray when there is no one around to be impressed by it. None of that feels significant in the moment. But that is exactly the stuff God is paying attention to.
Because character is not built in the big moments. It is revealed in them. It gets built in the small ones, the ten thousand tiny choices nobody sees, that quietly shape who you are becoming.
And here is the encouraging part. If you have been faithful in the small things, even when it felt like it did not matter, even when no one noticed, God noticed. None of it was wasted. You have been building something real this whole time, in all those overlooked moments you assumed were too small to count.
So if you are waiting for some big assignment to prove your faithfulness, stop waiting. The assignment is already in front of you. It is in the small, ordinary, right-in-front-of-you stuff of today.
Do that well. That is what He is looking for.
Much love and blessings,
Ramzi

Where This Meets Real Life:
Family
The small daily acts, the meals, the rides, the bedtime routines, the showing up, are not insignificant. They are the actual substance of love. God sees every one of them.
Relationships
Faithfulness in friendship is built in small things. The check-in text. The remembered detail. The showing up when it is inconvenient. Little things, done consistently, are what real relationships are made of.
Mental Health
On hard days, the goal is not to do something heroic. It is to do the next small faithful thing. Get up. Take the step. That counts more than you think.
Finances
Financial integrity is built in the small choices nobody sees. The honest expense report. The bill paid on time. The little disciplines compound into something significant.
Physical Health
Health is not built in dramatic overhauls. It is built in small, repeated, boring choices. The water, the walk, the early night. Faithful in the little things.

Closing thoughts…
Stop waiting for the big moment. God is in the small stuff you keep overlooking.
…and now lets end in prayer!🙏
Lord, help me be faithful in the little things. The ones nobody sees. The ones that feel too small to matter. Remind me that You are watching the quiet, ordinary moments and that none of my faithfulness is ever wasted. Help me do the small stuff well today, knowing it is shaping who I am becoming. Amen.
